27th Jun 2022. We, Ecobunker Shipping Co., Ltd., announced that Shinya Hitomi has been appointed new CEO of the company. An experienced business leader, Shinya Hitomi will succeed Kiyotaka Yamada and assume responsibilities on 27th Jun. Kiyotaka Yamada from Uyeno Transtech Ltd. has completed his term and stay on our board member as our Vice President.
Shinya Hitomi is current CEO of Yokohama Kawasaki International Port Corporation as known as “YKIP”. Under his new leadership, we aim to contribute to decarbonized society through our business working on the safe and stable supply of LNG fuel for vessels to meet the increasing demand of it at Keihin Port.
